The F.A.Z. Institute bestowed the "TOP-Newcomer 2011" award on the HARTING Technology Group, headquartered in Espelkampon Nov,29th, distinction was awarded in the course of a meeting of the German Society for the Promotion of Research on Standardization at DIN in Berlin.

Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dietmar Harting (l.), President and Partner of the HARTING Technology Group receives the award certificate as "TOP Newcomer 2011“ from Dr. Rainer J?kel, head of section of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology.
The award went to the Espelkamp-based, family owned and managed company in acknowledgement of its exceptional commitment and the excellent evaluation of its exchange of experience and knowledge among German companies. HARTING emerged as the most successful firm among the new members of the initiative, according to the evaluation of the events by the participants and the F.A.Z.-Institut. The award was received by Dr.-Ing. E.h. Dietmar Harting, President and Partner of the HARTING Technology ing the "TOP Newcomer 2011" award to HARTING, Dr. Rainer J?kel, head of section of the Federal Ministry of Economy and Technology commented: "A few pounds of good examples set are worth more than half a ton of good words."
"TOP", the Technology oriented visiting and Innovation Program ("Technologieorientierte Besuchs- und Innovationsprogramm - TOP“) is pursuing the aim of promoting the exchange of experience and knowledge between large scale and medium size companies (Germany's Mittelstand). Within the context of various events held in 2011, experts and managers fromthe 100 member companies discussed their particular innovations. Addressing the topic of "Employees come first - and never stand in the way" HARTING hosted the first TOP event. In the course of the event the company also showed how the challenge of customer specific, individual solutions can be solved in connection with low order volumes. The members of the innovation network are engaged in a regular exchange on success concepts in the areas of production processes, technology and strategy.
